Sunday school

Sunday school meets during the morning service in school term time. Children from 3-15 years are welcome to attend. They are split into 5 classes with secondary school pupils meeting together as a Bible Class. They are taught lessons from the Old and New Testaments and each lesson is followed up with an age appropriate worksheet, containing word puzzles which the children enjoy. Younger children do practical activities to back up what they have learned. All children are encouraged to learn memory work at home. There is also a Sunday school during the school holidays for children aged 8 years and under.

KidZone

Kids Zone is a children’s club for Primary school aged children. It meets during term time on a Friday evening from 6:30 – 7:45pm. The children play games, do crafts and are told a Bible story. This club runs during the winter and is open to any children in the area.

Children’s address

Each Sunday morning prior to leaving for their Sunday school classes, the children receive a short talk focussed on the basics of the Christian faith. This is done by using the Westminster Shorter Catechism. Using multimedia and interaction, the children are taught big truths but in a very simple way which is easy to understand. We believe it is vital that at an early age our children learn the truth of God’s word to enable them to make sense of the world around them and grow in the knowledge of God and the gospel.
